It is among the most preferred filter coffee types. Its acidity is medium, it has hazelnut, chocolate and fruit notes as aroma. Colombia ranks second in coffee production after Brazil. Colombia coffee is divided into 3 regions; North, Central and South regions.

The notes of hazelnut and chocolate are dominant in the coffee beans grown in the northern region.
Fruit notes are felt in the seeds grown in the Center.
Citrus notes are dominant in coffee beans grown in the South.
